Bayern Industries is committed to improve sustainability, transparency, and the well-being of Boki cocoa farmers. These commitments involve addressing issues like deforestation, low farmer income, and child labor. Key areas of focus include ensuring fair wages, promoting sustainable farming practices, and improving traceability within the supply chain.

Addressing Low Farmer Income:

We work to improve cocoa farmers’ livelihoods, including by implementing living income differentials and premiums to ensure fair prices for their cocoa. 

We provide training and support to boost farmers’ productivity and diversify their incomes. 

We are committed to stopping and reverse deforestation in our community

Bayern Industries is committed to ensuring that their cocoa supply chains do not contribute to deforestation. 

Bayern Industries is working to identify and eliminate child labor in our cocoa supply chains. 

This includes initiatives focused on education and providing alternative income opportunities for families. 

Bayern Industries monitors the cocoa supply chain from the farm to the finished product, enabling enhanced oversight and verification of sustainable practices. 

Increased transparency in the supply chain is also a priority, with Bayern Industries aiming to provide more information about our cocoa sourcing and practices. 

Bayern Industries supports the adoption of sustainable farming methods that enhance soil health, conserve water, and reduce the need for harmful chemicals.

Bayern Industries promote also the use of organic farming techniques.

Bayern Industries collaborates with government agencies, NGOs, and stakeholders on sustainable cocoa initiatives. 

This includes participating in initiatives like the CFI and other sector-wide
